Welcome Wreath Workshop - Register Now for February dates!

Here's the info on my Welcome Wreath Workshop!

Sample Completed kit
Sample Completed Project

What's so great about a wreath, so soon after the holidays? (Well, first of all, when is papercrafting NOT fun?) But also, read my previous post to find out a few of the reasons I think this particular project kit is awesome!

Now, it's probably easy enough to do on your own, but I think it would be fun to have some company while putting it together. So what do you say, shall we get together?

I've scheduled two different workshops on different days of the week to meet a variety of schedules. Which one works for you?
Workshop dates:

FEBRUARY (Order Online by Tues 1/31 , OR Payment* due to me 2/2)

-- Thurs. Feb. 16th - 10am
-- Sun. Feb. 19th - 2pm

~~~ FEE = $25  ~~~
My new goodies! Preview of Welcome Wreath Workshop!
Opening packages is fun, right? That's why Santa's such a big deal!
Well, my end-of-quarter orders from Close To My Heart have been trickling in and I'm so excited! It's almost like Christmas all over again...
* Organizational supplies to hold CTMH's new magnetic-lid inkpads...  (The organizational stuff actually IS a Christmas gift - from my husband)
* Sparkly brand new stampsets... (New MyAcrylix stamps do seem to sparkle in the right light, you know)...
* 2017 planner pages with designs for coloring...
and last but not least,
* my new Welcome Home Wreath kit designed especially for National Papercrafting Month.
THREE THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THIS WREATH KIT --
--ONE--
As a desert-dweller, I love that it features cacti! Well, succulents, anyways.
I think I'll brush the dusty green tips of the leaves with dark pansy ink (when the kit finally gets here, that is!) so it looks a bit more like the cacti I'm used to seeing. I probably won't be able to leave those pretty white blossoms alone either. Which would be better, a peach blush in the center, or a hint of lavender along the edges?
--TWO--
A second thing I love is that the kit comes with pre-cut pieces you pop out and attach to the sturdy chipboard base, so it's ready to assemble as soon as it arrives! I already have tape runner, 3D foam tape, glue dots, and liquid glass for adhering the various parts.
Probably the most difficult part will be deciding what to spell out with those gold foil alphabet stickers so I can personalize the wreath. Our last name is almost certainly too long. Plus it has 4 "L"s, so I'd have to check to see if there are enough "L" stickers. Maybe a simple "Welcome" will do. What do you think?
--THREE--
I LOVE how easy it is to get this kit FREE!
You can order it alone for just $18.95 ...
OR
You can get it FREE!
-- Free with qualifying $60 purchase
-- Free for Hostesses with Gatherings reaching the second level of Hostess Rewards
-- Free for new Consultants who sign up in January
I can't wait to share this Welcome Wreath project with you, so I've got another post right after this about a workshop where we can build this together! Remember to order your kit soon, they are only available in JANUARY while supplies last!
Confession! Do you do this?
Confession time - my Christmas tree and Nativity scene are still up! The outdoor lights have come down, but I'm not quite ready to bid farewell to all our special reminders of Christmas. How about you - what's your story?
If you celebrate other holidays - for example, the 8 days of Hanukkah which started 12/24, or Kwanzaa which extended from 12/26 to 1/1 - do you have decorations to put away? Are you tempted to leave them up?
If you decorate for the holidays, whatever they are, do you make a clean sweep ASAP after New Years and put away all decor?
Do you keep Christmas up until Epiphany (it was Jan 6th), remembering the late arrival of the wise men?
Will it take the imminent arrival of Chinese New Year on 1/28 to spur you into tidying up?
Or does flipping the calendar to February (and Valentine's Day) finally shame you into packing everything away?
I'm planning to pack it all away by the end of the upcoming 3-day weekend celebrating civil rights and MLK Jr.
Then I'm going to put up my new Welcome Home wreath! (but more about that later)
Sneak Peek!
