Here we go!
Today we celebrate MLK Jr's Bday. Tomorrow we inaugurate President Barack Obama. How cool that my kids are growing up in this time!
On the other hand, fears about terrorism and the poor economy and so many other issues make it a scary time to raise my kids.
I'm excited about our nation's future, but nervous -- no, maybe concerned is a better word -- as well. I feel the same way when thinking about my family, or my scrapbooking/stamping business, or my new tutoring work.
Same goes for starting this blog: This could be fun or a flop. (I'm hoping for fun!)
Do most people feel this ...trepidation(?)... whenever they launch a new endeavor? Or do you feel more confident, certain of success? I'd love to hear how others approach a new venture, or what happened when starting something out of the comfort zone.
